A few days ahead of the release of New Blue Sun, a friend sent me this message: “André 3000 has made an album for you – I think.”
Turns out he was right. André has indeed made an album for me, and for everyone else who’s into longform, largely beatless new-age flute improvisations. But this is just partly what my friend was alluding to.
