Great list - since you like disintegration loops, have you heard Lomond Campbell’s LUP - similar concept (but he built his own mechanism to cause decay on the loop). He’s a fascinating Scottish composer

I haven't! Will check it out soon, thanks for the hint.

Strong choices here 💪

And a reminder I need to check out more Blue Note stuff…

Yeah their run in the 1960s was immaculate but they've kept putting out quality stuff!

That is one awesome list. I see a ton of my favorites there too!

Love it! Such a broad list of genre and style. There are a few here where I am familiar with another by the same artist but not the one you listed (Four Tet, Boards of Canada, and others) and so I will check those out immediately.

Very excited to listen to all of them! For my list, I'd have a really hard time deciding whether my favorite Brian Eno album is Another Green World, Taking Tiger Mountain, or Here Come The Warm Jets.

Well my runner-up was Before and After Science. And Wrong Way Up, his collab album with John Cale, is kind of a dark horse!

Fantastic list, loads of stuff I’ve never listened to but will check out now.

So glad to see the s/t by Warpaint on there, it’s a classic in my books.

Thanks! Happy it resonates.

Yes, Warpaint are absolutely brilliant. And while the s/t is certainly their best studio recording, on stage they've become even better since then. I love watching fan videos of Warpaint concerts on Youtube. They play together so well, so much more than the sum of its parts.
